An Asado is the traditional way that the gauchos cooked whilst tending the herds of cattle on the vast pampas plains of Argentina. Today, the asado is a regular social ritual for gatherings of family and friends, chatting whilst the meat is slowly cooked over wood or charcoal embers.

Often a whole lamb, cooked for 5 or 6 hours, alongside some select cuts of beef and whilst you are waiting some chorizo sausage served in warm, fresh bread with a dash of homemade chimichurri sauce.
